About Mark Di Vincenzo
Born and reared in Cleveland, Mark Di Vincenzo worked as a journalist for 24
years, making a name for himself as a reporter who exposed abuses and as
a writer who made the complicated seem simple. During that time, he won numerous
awards. He left daily journalism in the summer of 2007 to start Business
Writers Group, a company that writes everything from résumés to ghost-written
books for individuals and corporate clients.
His first book, Buy
Ketchup in May and Fly at Noon: A Guide to the Best Time to Buy This, Do This
and Go There, was published in 2009. It’s a New York Times best-seller. Your
Pinkie Is More Powerful Than Your Thumb: And 333 Other Surprising Facts That
Will Make You Wealthier, Healthier and Smarter Than Everyone Else is
his second book.
Pinkie is dedicated to his daughters, two of whom live with him and his
wife in Newport News, a shipyard town in coastal Virginia. His oldest daughter
attends the University of Oklahoma.
